Nominations are now open for the 2022 Malcolm Tredinnick Memorial Prize. Information about the prize and past recipients can be found on the Django Software Foundation Prizes web page. The Malcolm Tredinnick Memorial Prize is a monetary prize, awarded annually, to the person who best exemplifies the spirit of Malcolm’s work - someone who welcomes, supports, and nurtures newcomers; freely gives feedback and assistance to others, and helps to grow the community. If you know someone who exemplifies Malcolm's work, you can nominate them using the nomination form by October 30th, 2022.

PyCon US has announced on its blog that the 2023 website and call for proposals are live. 2023 marks 20 years for the conference. The website includes details about the event, including sponsorship and speaking details. Conference proposals are due by December 9th, 2022.
